Lanner and Ecosystem Partners to Showcase End-to-End AI-on-RAN Solution for Private 5G Networks at COMPUTEX 2026

TAIPEI, TAIWAN – June 2, 2026 – Lanner Electronics, a global leader in network appliances and Edge AI servers, today announced a joint live demonstration at COMPUTEX 2026 in collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc, Askey Computer Corp., Saviah Technologies, and Ecrio. The live showcase will highlight an end-to-end AI-on-RAN solution that seamlessly integrates private 5G networking, real-time communications, and edge AI inferencing to enable low-latency, intelligent workflows for enterprise and industrial applications.

As enterprise demands for advanced AI and robust security accelerate, traditional network infrastructures often struggle to keep pace. To bridge this gap, this collaborative solution unites private 5G and edge computing to deliver the ultra-low latency and AI processing power required for business intelligence, industrial automation, and critical communications.

Attendees can experience a live demonstration of this next-generation infrastructure from June 2 to June 5 at the Lanner booth (TWTC Hall 1, Booth A1227a).

Key Pillars of the AI-on-RAN Architecture

  • Secure Private 5G Networking: The infrastructure combines the Askey SCU5000 Small Cell with Saviah’s 5G Core technology to deliver secure, low-latency wireless connectivity. This provides reliable network coverage and flexible deployment capabilities for enterprise environments requiring dedicated, real-time private cellular networks.
  • Mission-Critical Real-Time Communications: Ecrio provides IMS/SIP-based VoIP communication services that support push-to-talk (PTT) and real-time voice collaboration directly over the private 5G network. The platform ensures seamless and dependable communications for industrial scenarios, including smart manufacturing, logistics, and field operations.
  • High-Performance Edge AI Inferencing at the RAN: Serving as the core of the AI-on-RAN architecture is the Lanner ECA-5555 Edge AI platform. Functioning as both an edge compute system and a core server—and accelerated by Qualcomm® Dragonwing Solution with AI100Ultra Inference Accelerator—the system delivers high-performance edge AI inferencing for the most latency-sensitive workloads.

The live demo will also feature Vision Language Model (VLM) capabilities, which are currently under development by Edge Impulse, a Qualcomm company. By processing AI workloads closer to the data source, the VLM is being developed to enable real-time visual analysis and contextual understanding directly at the edge, dramatically reducing latency, improving responsiveness, and optimizing bandwidth efficiency.

“This collaboration demonstrates how ecosystem partnerships can accelerate the deployment of intelligent private 5G infrastructure with integrated AI capabilities,” said Jeans Tseng, CTO at Lanner Electronics. “By combining private 5G connectivity, real-time communications, and edge AI inferencing into a unified architecture, our solution provides a scalable foundation for future AI-on-RAN deployments across industrial and enterprise environments.”

“As AI and connectivity converge, enterprises are looking for more intelligent, responsive infrastructure that can operate in real time,” said Evgeni Gousev, VP of Technology at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. “By bringing AI inferencing directly into the network edge with our Dragonwing™ solutions, we’re helping to enable a new class of low-latency, data-driven applications. Collaborations like this demonstrate how a strong ecosystem can help advance the full potential of private 5G and edge AI—supporting scalable, efficient solutions for industrial and enterprise environments.”

“The synergy between the Edge Impulse platform and Qualcomm Technologies is unlocking a new era of distributed intelligence,” said Alexis Susset, Director of Product Management at Edge Impulse. “By leveraging a custom vision AI model—optimized for compact Dragonwing™ based Edge AI chipsets to perform real-time detection at the extreme edge, and seamlessly offloading complex reasoning to a unified edge server hosting both the private 5G network and Qualcomm AI 100 Ultra, we’re providing a blueprint for scalable, multi-tier Vision Language Models (VLMs). This Computex demo showcases how enterprises can deploy sophisticated, context-aware AI that is both responsive at the endpoint and incredibly powerful at the network edge, transforming raw data into immediate, actionable insights.”

“Private 5G and AI are rapidly becoming foundational technologies for next-generation enterprise and industrial applications,” said Jyh-Cheng Chen, founder of Saviah Technologies. “Through this collaboration, we are demonstrating how an open and interoperable AI-on-RAN architecture powered by Saviah’s 5G Core can deliver secure connectivity, real-time intelligence, and flexible deployment capabilities for mission-critical environments.”

By leveraging Askey’s SCU5000 Small Cell as a key component of its agile and resilient private 5G network solution, Askey enables enterprises and organizations to rapidly deploy secure, low-latency private 5G networks designed to support real-time AI-driven applications and mission-critical operations,” said Robert Lin, CEO of Askey. “Presenting this collaboration at Computex underscores our shared commitment to accelerate the future AI-on-RAN that solves real operational challenges.”

“Delighted to collaborate with Qualcomm, Lanner, Askey, and Saviah to deliver a sovereign industrial solution combining private 5G, on‑prem AI acceleration, and Ecrio’s Edge AI Communication Platform, said Michel Gannage, CEO of Ecrio. As showcased at Computex, it brings inference, detection, and communication to the edge for safe, responsive, fully controlled operations required for resilient automation.”

Visitors and media are invited to experience the live AI-on-RAN demonstration at the Lanner booth during COMPUTEX 2026 at TWTC Hall 1, Booth A1227a.
