Ecrio Inc., Debuts Ecrio Intelligent Delivery Engine for Advanced Wireless Messaging at CTIA Wireless 2001

Cupertino, California - March 19, 2001 — Ecrio Inc., a provider of advanced wireless messaging applications and infrastructure, today announced the launch of its second messaging product, the Ecrio™ Intelligent Delivery Engine. Benefiting carriers, service providers, and corporations alike, Ecrio's Intelligent Delivery Engine, a multi-purpose messaging and notification software, enables the offering of rich notification and transaction services for mobile commerce and corporate applications, stimulating new revenue opportunities for carriers, and streamlining and simplifying applications and processes for the enterprise.

The company also announced the general availability for deployment of its Ecrio Rich Instant Messaging Platform V1.0, which enables users to send rich instant messages-images, pictures, drawings, handwritten notes in any language, and text-to and from any internet-enabled wireless or desktop appliance.
