Ecrio's Rich Instant Messaging Platform Enables Rich Communications On Palm OS PDAs
CUPERTINO, California and MANITOBA, Canada - February 15, 2001 — Ecrio Inc., a provider of advanced wireless messaging applications and infrastructure, and Zero Gravity, Inc., a wireless service provider that enables subscribers to remotely access e-mail, optimized Internet content, corporate information and applications, today announced they will be teaming together towards offering Rich Instant Messaging for the wireless PDA market in Canada. Beginning in April, Zero Gravity users will be able to send and receive handwritten notes in any language, including drawings, images and texts to and from any Internet-enabled wireless Palm OS handheld computer, with desktop and mobile phone users.
